Puncture repairs can be carried out quickly and simply whether at our shop or out and about with the mobile unit. A punctured tyre can be repaired if the hole is less than 6mm in diameter and is found on the centre ¾ of the tyre tread. Sidewall and shoulder punctures should never be repaired so, unfortunately if you get one there, a new tyre is required.
Why? Simply because the tyre isn’t designed to be fixed off the centre ¾ of the tread and isn’t strong enough to safely hold a repair.
